We knew in moving to this place that we would have a good number of visitors, I mean who wouldn't want to visit! So like any new environment we find ourselves in, we try to become as familiar as possible, in order to share our favorite parts with our friends and family. With Danny's parents arriving in a couple weeks, I've been getting out to Grand Teton National Park as much as possible. I visited each of the 4 lodges in the park, but it was too early in the season and they weren't open yet. It was still good to get a feeling for each unique lodge, accommodations, and proximity in the park. I will need to do some more research, but so far my favorite lodge for a drink is Jackson Lake Lodge and I think the prettiest drive is by Jenny Lake Lodge (photo above).
I think GTNP is much more manageable (and breathtaking!) than Yellowstone National Park, so I have yet to explore more than we saw a couple years ago on our roadtrip. When Danny's parents are here we plan to visit Old Faithful Inn again, but that's about all I'm familiar with! It is a pretty incredible place, and I know it's just the tip of the iceberg of Yellowstone.
I have so much more to explore and learn about this place, but it's kind of nice having a couple "favorites" to check out and recommend already!
