Plenty of Pride
Here is a little snippet of our day at the Gay Pride Parade this past Sunday. Before heading to the parade, we enjoyed ourselves at a Rainbow Brunch, hosted by our friends Laura and Josh. We had as much fun planning for this party, than we did enjoying it! :)
SHOP: Rowen & Wren
Once upon a time, I posted about new online shops I happened upon. Needless to say, I have not been very good about these posts. This shop however has influenced me to post once again!
There is a nice range of rustic, classic, and worldly. I havn't investigated the shipping situation, but I'm sure it's possible. It's probably not hard to guess, but preferred section in this shop, is "refined rustic", which I think sums up my design aesthetic pretty well!
Music at Millennium
Friday evening was our first concert in the park, and it was so nice! The symphony played for about 2 hours, and everyone was lounging, picnicing, and just enjoying the music. The summer months here are very precious, so people make good use of every outdoor oportunity. We really need to spend more time at this park. Its amazing. Check out the schedule for the remaining concerts of 2012.
I think the Wednesday "Simulcast" sounds pretty cool! From what I can gather, the ballet will be on a HUGE screen while the orchestra plays. Of course I'm biased, but it sounds good to me:)
